From precision parachute operations to roaring aerobatics and high-speed runway action, this year’s performer lineup brings together an exciting mix of military excellence, modern airshow energy, and aviation history.
Spectators can look forward to the incredible SOCOM Para-Commandos as they descend from above with unmatched precision and patriotic flair. The excitement continues as Jim Peitz takes to the skies in his aerobatic Bonanza, delivering a graceful yet powerful performance filled with skill, control, and crowd-pleasing maneuvers. SRC Airshows and Redline Airshows will also bring their own high-energy brands of speed, precision, and aerobatic excitement to the airspace above Alexandria. On the ground, Wicked Willy Jet Car will add a whole new level of intensity as it thunders down the runway with jaw-dropping speed and power.

The SOCOM Para-Commandos
The Para-Commandos are the US Special Operations Command’s premier aerial parachute demonstration team. They perform at high visibility events across the nation, informing the public about the US Special Operations Command; the command’s mission, and the contributions our 70,000 plus Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Department of Defense Civilians are making across the United States and in more than 70 countries around the globe.
The Para-Commandos are members of and representative of today’s Special Operations Forces. The Para-Commandos are comprised of active duty Special Operators, such as Army Special Forces, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Air Force Combat Controllers and Marine Raiders. In addition, the Para-Commandos have a number of support personnel, commonly referred to as Special Operations Enablers. Their enablers come from all four services, and include reserve forces as well.
Jim Peitz
Jim is from Pierre, SD where his father taught him to fly in the 1970’s. He began teaching himself aerobatics in 1992, and has since amassed over 20000 incident-free hours in over 100 aircraft types! Flying his certified aerobatic F33C Beechcraft Bonanza, he delivers an amazing demonstration that will leave all who see it completely mesmerized. The specialized Bonanza is capable of a wide range of aerobatic maneuvers, including loops, point rolls, barrel rolls, snap rolls, Cuban eights and hammerheads.
SRC Airshows
SRC airshows is owned and operated by Stephen Covington. Stephen is the pilot at SRC airshows where he has amazed everyone with his aerobatic performances in his highly modified Pitts s2s named the ”Raptor”/”FURY”. The Pitts has Been retired and now he flies FURY 2.0, a Gamebird GB1.
Stephen Covington started flying 25+ years ago and has his commercial rating and over 3000 hours logged. He also holds his Surface Level SAC card so he can do aerobatics down to the ground!
Redline Airshows
Redline Airshows is a dynamic father-son formation aerobatic team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, known for delivering high-energy performances across North America. With a passion for precision flying and aviation excellence, Redline showcases thrilling formation aerobatics that captivate audiences of all ages. Ken and Austin Rieder’s expertly choreographed routine combines skill, speed and daring maneuvers, set against a back drop of high-performance aircraft and vibrant smoke trails.
Wicked Willy Jet Car
The “Wicked Willy” Jet Funny Car is a high-octane masterpiece engineered to bridge the worlds of aviation power and extreme motorsports. Piloted by veteran racer Paul Sieli, this crowd-favorite attraction delivers a sensory-overload performance featuring massive walls of fire, blinding smoke clouds, and an ear-splitting roar you can feel in your chest. Driven by a genuine aircraft turbine engine, Wicked Willy lights up the afterburner to blast down the runway at blistering top speeds reaching 300 MPH. It provides a thrilling, family-friendly spectacle that showcases the absolute limits of mechanical engineering, speed, and showmanship.
